The Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA)-Greater Seattle held its annual Golden Circles Awards Dinner, which honored those who have made significant contributions to the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans. This year’s theme was Building Legacy, centering on community development.
The award recipients were U.S. Forest Services Supervisor Dale Hom, University of Washington Landscape Architecture Chair Jeff Hou, MarPac Construction, and Low Income Housing Institute Founder and Executive Director Sharon Lee.
About 240 people attended and $25,000, which, in part, will help OCA-Greater Seattle support its youth engagement projects. (end)
