Nikkei Concerns, a organization that provides health related services to elderly Asian Pacific Americans in the Northwest, held its 35th anniversary dinner at the Westin Hotel in Seattle.
The event featured Kelly Miyahara, from Jeopardy Clue Crew, as its inspirational speaker. Entertainment was provided by Kupaoa, a male and female Hawaiian music duo, the Seattle Matsuri Taiko drummers, and the Kimochi Ukulele Band.
The event raised more than $400,000 for Nikkei Concerns. More than 900 people attended.
The event was emceed by Fred Katayama, a news anchor for Reuters. ♦
