Over 300 people turned up to celebrate Patti Payne — who was honored with the 5th Avenue Theatre Excellence Award on Oct. 5. The event at the King Street Ballroom raised close to half a million dollars for the theatre’s Rising Star Project. Several artists, and Payne herself, performed for the attendees.
Payne is an award-winning broadcaster and she writes for the Puget Sound Business Journal.
