During the week of May 17, Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) and its contractor, Gary Merlino Construction Company, will begin work to repave a major section of South Dearborn Street between 5th Avenue South and 10th Avenue South. Construction is scheduled to be completed in late July.

During construction, there will be lane closures, but at least one lane on South Dearborn Street will be open for traffic at all times in both directions. Some temporary side street closures and traffic restrictions will be necessary. ♦

For more information and to follow the progress of this project, please visit www.seattle.gov/transportation/pave_dearborn.htm.
