This year, Vegfest, an annual vegetarian food festival, was held at Seattle Center’s Exhibition Hall. Attendees at the event tried free samples of more than 500 different foods and watched cooking demonstration by chefs from all over the country. Among the chefs featured were Asian chefs Pranee Halvorsen and Archana Verma, who demonstrated Thai and Indian cooking, respectively.
Vegfest was presented by Vegetarians of Washington, whose president is Amanda Strombom. ♦
