On Oct. 15, Kollaboration Seattle 2 will take place at the Auburn Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m.

Kollaboration is an annual event and movement produced by young Asian and Pacific Islander (API) professionals and students to promote a strong API presence in entertainment and media.

There are six competitors for the $1,000 grand prize: Lijie, Iwillbot, The Boom Katzz, Lions Ambition, Stuart Sakoda, and Clairbel Novelo.

Special guest performances include Jayesslee, GOWE, the Massive Monkees, Joey Guila, and Roy Choi.

Kollaboration was founded in 2000 by Executive Director Paul “PK” Kim. Under the guidance of Executive Producer Roy Choi, Kollaboration was officially incorporated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in January 2006 and is officially recognized as an Asian and Pacific Islander organization. (end)
