On May 1, the Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month was celebrated through a festival in the Center House at Seattle Center. The event featured the Filipino Youth Activities Drill Team, Chinese Community Girls Drill Team, Kinnaly Music and Dance Troupe, Cambodian Dance Preservation Troupe, Indonesian Fellowship Club of Bellevue College, Ke Liko A’e O Lei Lehua, Nepal Seattle Society Dance Troupe, Korean Children’s Choir, and many more. Headlining the event was FlowEthics, a hip hop group from California.
