Fashion for the Arts featuring SOUTH by Andy South was an event benefiting the Lao Heritage Foundation (LHF) and held at PRAVDA Studios in Capitol Hill. South, of Laotian descent, was a finalist on season 8 of “Project Runway.”

More than 300 people attended the show. There was a cocktail reception/after party with DJ Satellite. About $2,000 was raised for LHF’s summer cultural exchange program for 20 students to travel to Laos to learn about its music, dance, culture, and language. ♦
