The North Korean missile threat is serious

Seattle libraries closed for a week

In April 2007, Atlanta Falcons superstar quarterback Michael Vick was charged with competitive dog fighting, and owning and conducting a dog fighting ring in his southeastern Virginia home. In December 2007, Vick was convicted.

The vegetarian diet: nutritious and delicious

When I was 13 years old, I had a sudden revelation that eating animals was wrong and cruel. I would hear stories about the unethical treatment of them, and my heart would melt. Thus, I became a vegetarian.
