To celebrate 16 years of service to the Puget Sound’s Vietnamese community, Helping Link invited guests to a networking event on Lake Washington. There, guests ate Vietnamese cuisine and learned some of the Vietnamese language.
Many people give, but only do so with strings attached. These thoughts may sound familiar:
“The more I get acknowledged in public, the more I will give.”
“I jump on the bandwagon when the rich and powerful in the room are giving.”
Local Vietnamese American businessman Thach Nguyen presented the Essence of Belltown, which coincided with the grand opening of his latest project, Moda Condominiums.
The event aimed to bring the Belltown community together. Nguyen, a former refugee, is a realtor, developer, and philanthropist who works in real estate.
