China blasts United States over its credit rating downgrade

By Alexa Olesen The Associated Press BEIJING (AP) — China, the largest foreign holder of U.S. debt, demanded last week that America tighten its belt and confront its “addiction to debts” in the wake of Standard & Poor’s decision to downgrade the U.S. credit rating.

Japan confirms China surpassed its economy in 2010
