NAAAP-Seattle is pleased to announce the 2012 NAAAP-Seattle High School and College Scholarships to encourage promising Asian American students seeking higher educational opportunities. This scholarship will award three winners in the Greater Seattle area. Each winner will receive up to $2,500 to go towards educational purposes. At the 2011 National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) National Convention, NAAAP-Seattle placed first out of 24 NAAAP chapters nationwide in PR/marketing and community involvement categories. The National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) had its 2009 Silk Road Gala with more than 250 guests in attendance, at the Ontario Science Centre. This is the Silk Road Gala’s inaugural year, and it helped to raise more than $1,000, which will be distributed to the Sunnybrook Foundation and the Carefirst For Seniors Foundation.
