Two Koreas agree to hold family reunions as planned

By Hyung-Jin Kim Associated Press SEOUL, South Korea (AP) – North and South Korea agreed in a rare high-level meeting Friday to stop insulting each other and to go ahead with planned reunions of Korean War-divided families next week despite a dispute over upcoming U.S.-South Korean military drills.

N. Korea blames US threat for aborting envoy’s trip

Koreas agree to family talks

North Korean children suing to inherit fortune from late South Korean father

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — A rare lawsuit filed by four North Korean siblings staking claim to their late South Korean father’s fortune is making its way through the South Korean court system, closely watched by legal experts who say it could inspire other families divided by war six decades ago.
