Gary Locke swears in as U.S. Ambassador to China

U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke formally resigned Monday, Aug. 1, and was sworn-in by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as U.S. Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China.
