July 23: Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot opens in Bellevue

At 1411 156th Ave. N.E., suite A, in Bellevue is a new restaurant, Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot. The location is the very first in the state and the seventh in the country. Little Sheep first opened in 1999 in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. Today it has more than 400 locations worldwide.

Adopted Chinese teenagers give back to their country of birth

The Northwest chapter of Families with Children from China (NW-FCC) will be having their very first teen service China trip. From July 17 to Aug. 2, 11 teenagers along with nine adults will be visiting orphanages close to Beijing, Inner Mongolia, and Xian.
