May 6, 2019 By Northwest Asian Weekly

Sam Cho

Sam Cho, a second-generation Korean American, is running for the Port of Seattle Commission, position 2 — a seat currently held by Courtney Gregoire, who will not run for re-election.

Cho is a staff member working in the state Legislature and a commissioner with the Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs.

He also runs his own business as the CEO of Seven Seas Export, a trading company that exports U.S. commodities to Asia.

Previously, Cho was the Special Assistant to the Deputy Administrator of the U.S. General Services Administration in the Obama administration.
