One of Seattle’s best-known political reporters, Robert Mak, has joined KOMO-TV. He works part-time on special assignments.
Mak covered Donald Trump’s visit to Washington state on May 7.
He’s most known as the host of the public-affairs program, “KING 5 News Up Front.” Mak resigned in 2013 when the show was canceled, then was hired on as Greg Nickels’ communications director when Nickels was Seattle’s mayor.
Mak has won 10 regional Emmy awards for investigative reporting and news programs.
