Lloyd Hara honored

Lloyd Hara was honored on Feb. 29 for his public service career spanning 50 years.

The event, at the Nagomi Tea House, was hosted by Gary Locke and Washington State representative Bob Hasegawa.

Hara has served as King County’s Auditor, Seattle City Treasurer, Seattle Port Commissioner, and King County Assessor. He also founded the Seattle International District Rotary Club and is a past president of the Japanese American Citizens League, Seattle Chapter.
