Eddie Huang

Food personality, author, and now sitcom personality (represented in character) Eddie Huang will be speaking at the University of Washington April 21st. The evening is presented by the Associated Students of the University of Washington (ASUW) Arts & Entertainment, HUB Culture & Pop Programs at the University of Washington, the University Bookstore, the ASUW Asian Student Commission, and the UW Ethnic Cultural Center. Huang is the bestselling author of Fresh Off the Boat, the memoir ABC has adapted into one of this season’s most talked-about new TV shows (Huang is also producer). On stage, his hyper-opinionated personality shares lessons from his unconventional successes: Embrace the unknown. Don’t accept mediocrity. Make things that excite you. Always move forward. (end)

The event will take place at the UW HUB ballroom, Tuesday, April 21. $8 for UW students, faculty, and staff $15 for general admission. 7:00PM RSVP & MORE INFO: http://bit.ly/eddiehuang_uwfb. TICKETS: http://bit.ly/eddiehuang_uw.
