Mahnaz Eshetu

The Refugee Women’s Alliance (ReWA) of Seattle has named Mahnaz Kourourian Eshetu as its new executive director. Eshetu assumed her duties on Dec. 1. ReWA is a multiethnic, community-based organization that provides comprehensive culturally and linguistically appropriate services to refugee and immigrant communities throughout King and Snohomish counties.

Eshetu has supported the mission of ReWA for the past six years, serving as the board chair. She is the past co-chair of the University of Washington Business and Economic Development Center Advisory Board, secretary of Seattle Economic Development Association Board, and board member of Tacoma Affordable Housing Consortium. Hi Mahnaz, I was wondering if you’re Iranian and whether you graduated in accounting field from Iran.

    Thanks,
    Fereidoon
