Dear Editor,
My grandmother used to always say, “Remember the good; forget the bad.” I thought of this in tears on the train coming home to Pittsburgh after 12 years living in Chinatown. Chinatown was more than a neighborhood; it was a dream come true. I will never forget the wonderful people, the newspapers, the bakeries, the parties at the park and the gate, or the energy and hope. The love.
Thank you for 12 wonderful years.
