ICHS to help Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese speakers with health care enrollment

The International Community Health Services in the International District and Holly Park have certified in-person health navigators to help native speakers of APA languages with enrolling in the state health care exchanges.

The agency can provide a speaker for organizations and churches is interested in scheduling a presentation or special event on the Affordable Care Act, according to a press release. For help in Cantonese or Mandarin, contact 206-462-7164; in Korean, contact 206-788-3653; and in Vietnamese, contact 206-462-7163.

ICHS’s efforts are part of a national outreach strategy led by the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum, Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations, Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Los Angeles, and Asian Americans Advancing Justice-AAJC to maximize the enrollment of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders.
