Cheryl Shaw named president of World Affairs Council

Cheryl Shaw joined the World Affairs of Seattle council as president on Aug. 5.

The World Affairs Council of Seattle is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating global citizens. The organization operates multiple programs, bringing international leaders in the arts, business, politics, and academia to the Seattle area. It is one of four World Affairs Councils in the state of Washington.

Before joining the World Affairs Council, Cheryl Shaw worked as the executive director of the Susan G. Komen Puget Sound affiliate. (end)
