Russell Joe

Former Issaquah City Councilmember Russell Joe joined the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Washington (JCCCW) as the organization’s new chief administrative officer on July 1. CAO is a new position to the organization, following the restructuring of JCCCW’s leadership infrastructure. The CAO and COO positions replace the former executive director position.

As CAO, Joe will focus on the organization’s finances and administration. The COO, currently Bif Brigman, will manage the organization’s programing and facilities.

Joe is currently an attorney with a practice in general civil law, including adoptions, family law, civil collections, and contract disputes. He also works on criminal misdemeanor defense and was the former deputy prosecutor for the cities of Medina, Hunts Point, and Duvall. (end)
