Dragon Fest brings $2 Happiness Hour and beer garden to the International District

July 13, 2012 By Northwest Asian Weekly

This year’s Dragon Fest will include a traditional Japanese beer garden on Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. in the parking lot at 5th Avenue and King Street.

Guests can enjoy alcoholic refreshments, Japanese street food, and cultural entertainment.

Georgetown Brewery will be on site to provide Manny’s Pale Ale and Roger’s Pilsner. Proceeds from the beer garden will benefit The North American Post and Hokubei Hochi Foundation.

$2 drink specials will also be available at local International District restaurants. (end)
