Albert Shen
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) named Albert Shen as its 2012 Minority Champion of the Year.
Shen is the owner and president of Shen Consulting, Inc., a project planning, design, and construction management company.
Shen’s company has completed large transportation improvement programs for Sea-Tac airport. On his off-hours, Shen volunteers with the Chinatown International Preservation Development Authority, advocating for the welfare of multicultural businesses. Shen helped form the Minority Business Action Committee (MBAC), an organization that pushes forth the political voice of the Minority Business Enterprise and fosters collaboration between businesses and elected officials to help resolve issues in Washington.
