World Dance Party held at Filipino Community Center

The Filipino Community of Seattle held a multicultural night and celebration called World Dance Party at the Filipino Community Center on Martin Luther King Jr. Way on Feb. 24.

More than 200 guests of different backgrounds gathered to enjoy ethnic foods, entertainment, and to participate in a group dance party. The event included lessons in the following dance styles: Bhangra, West African, Cumbia, Hora, Tinikling, Line Dance, and Soca Reggae. (end)
