On Feb. 4, the Seattle Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League held its 90th annual banquet at Tea Palace Restaurant in Renton.
Honored this year were Admiral Herb Bridge, who received the Sam Shoji Unsung Hero Award, Diane Narasaki (executive director of Asian Counseling Referral Service), who received the Community Service Award, and Alan Sugiyama (founder of the Center for Career Alternatives), who also received the Community Service Award.
About 250 people attended the banquet. (end)
