Sept. 23: Volunteers paint out graffiti on streets of Little Saigon

October 24, 2011 By Northwest Asian Weekly

Volunteers from the community and Wells Fargo Bank grabbed brushes and rollers to take to the streets of Little Saigon and painted out graffiti.

With funding from Historic South Downtown and nearly 100 volunteer hours, 14 chronic graffiti sites along Jackson, 10th, and 12th Avenues, including the brightly colored fish columns below I-5, were cleaned. (end)
