The White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (WHIAAPI) is organizing an all-day summit in Seattle on Friday, July 8, with top Obama administration dignitaries and federal agency representatives to learn how federal programs and services can better serve Asian American and Pacific Islander business owners, entrepreneurs, and community members.
The event will focus on various programs and services that contribute to sustainable neighborhoods and communities, including workshops on financing and globalizing a green business, federal contracting opportunities, urban farming, and health disparities in the AAPI community.
The WHIAAPI Sustainable Growth Summit is presented in partnership with North Seattle Community College and the State of Washington Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs.
The Summit’s keynote speaker, Chris Lu, is one of the highest-ranking Asian Americans in the president’s administration.
The event is free of charge. ♦

Why don’t we spend out time, effort and money learning how we can better serve America? Until we quit having a color/race description in front of American, we will never be One Nation.
