Seattle’s top sushi chefs and other local chefs came together to host a feast, served with wine and sake, at Bell Harbor Pier 66 for a benefit to support the relief efforts of Peace Winds America and Peace Winds Japan.

It was the first time that the sushi chefs, including Billy Beach (Japonessa), Shiro Kashiba (Shiro’s), Hiro Kirita (Chiso), Taichi Kitamura (Sushi Kappo Tamura), Ryuichi Nakano (Kisaku), Hideaki Taneda (I Love Sushi), and Yoshiaki Nishizawa (Shun), collaborated on a special sushi roll served at the event.

The event raised $85,000. ♦
