June 10: Local organizations earn 2010 International Human Services Award

The Seattle Human Services Coalition announced its six 2010 Human Services Award winners.

Winners include the African American Elders Program, International Community Health Services (ICHS), Open Arms Perinatal Services, Pastor Richard Gamble, the African American Child Care Task Force, and El Centro De La Raza.

These awards are given to encourage agencies and individuals by acknowledging the work of those who have touched people’s lives and others through their advocacy, dedication, and effort to make a difference in human services. ♦
