Refugee Women’s Alliance (ReWA), a Seattle-based nonprofit organization, has announce that the agency has opened an office in the Seattle International District.

It as part of an effort to develop and strengthen its work for the refugee and immigrant populations throughout King County.

“ReWA has always delivered services close to the communities we serve,” said Someireh Amirfaiz, executive director of ReWA. “Given the large population of refugees and immigrants living close to the International District, this is a great opportunity for us to serve those who have difficulty accessing services at our Martin Luther King location due to transportation.”

The new office, located on the third floor of 412 Maynard Ave. S., provides a broad range of services, including mental health counseling, citizenship, family support, and employment programs. ♦
