The Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus’ (CAPAC) outgoing executive director, Victoria Tung, has accepted a position in the Obama administration in the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs within the Department of Commerce, which is headed by Secretary Gary Locke.

Gloria Chan, who is currently CAPAC’s communications director and Rep. Mike Honda’s legislative counsel, will become the caucus’ second executive director.
“CAPAC has grown strong under Vicki’s leadership, and I am confident that Gloria will follow in the excellent path created by Vicki,” said Rep. Honda. “On behalf of the caucus, I thank Vicki for her devoted service to our offices over the past four years, and I look forward to seeing the continued growth of our caucus under Gloria’s leadership.”
