A
watermelon carved into the Chinese characters for “Fortune” welcomed
crowds to Chinatown-International District Summer Festival July 12
and 13. The watermelon was carved by the owner of local restaurant
Phnom Penh. The celebrations included various arts and crafts, performing
arts, food booths and a rousing karaoke competition. Be sure to catch
it next year!
